When you walk into the grounds, you'll forget you're in Houston. Tiny Boxwood's is one of Houston's most interesting cafe's and its unique setting inspires a feeling of Napa Valley.
The daily changing blackboard menu offerings, which have proven to be one of the elements of success, feature signature cafe fare as well as eclectic and contemporary creations.
Some people think Tiny Boxwood's Cafe feels like a California kind of place. For others, the ambiance registers as Provence. That's fine with chef Baron Doak. "We just wanted it to feel different from anyplace else," Doak says. "That's why there's not even a Visa sticker on the front door."

Ikal 1150 & the Tiny Boxwood's Wine List
The wine list features boutique and limited production wines that pair well with its menu items like the Ikal 1150 Pinot Noir from Argentina. This wine, created by fellow Houstonians in Argentina, is a lighter red wine that's great by itself or with their artisan sandwiches, leafy greens, and roasted chicken salads. Aromas of cherry blossom, pie spice, and earth set this wine apart from many new world Pinot Noir.
