One of Houston's newest restaurants, Branch Water Tavern combines food and beverage talents to create a modern American tavern. The menu includes American, French, and Asian inspired dishes with plenty of seafood choices. The beverage offerings include hand-crafted cocktails, boutique wines, artisanal beer, and American whiskeys.

 “Our menu will offer straightforward presentations with intense flavors,” said David Grossman, a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. 13 Celsius is one of Houston's top rated wine bars, carrying exclusively limited production and hard to find gems, including 1150 from Bodega Ikal. Located in the upcoming Midtown area of Houston, the small venue in a circa 1927 building offers a unique ambiance that inspires old world wine bars (think of the now hip East Berlin).

Cova is unique to Houston. A boutique retail wine store with a popular wine bar and bistro attached. Customers may browse from among 500 different bottle selections where they can enjoy on or off premise.

Cafesitos Restaurant is a charming Katy restaurant that specializes in Latin Mediterranean food including Spanish Tapas and wine. The Ikal 1150 wines pair especially well with a selection of Spanish Jamon and cheese that you won't find elsewhere. The rustic ambiance of the place is often accompanied by live music.

The Corkscrew is a down-to-earth Houston wine bar in the part of Washington Avenue that still looks industrial. The circa 1920 building inspires a rustic and casual atmosphere that is unpretentious and relaxing. The corkscrew serves excellent appetizers and nibbles including cheese plates, chocolate truffles, and pizzas.
